Getting in touch
When you use the contact form or send an email, PANIC Intelligence processes your name, email address, any organization you choose to provide, the content of your message and subsequent correspondence. The form also sends your selected language.
The data is used to respond to your inquiry. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies where the inquiry concerns steps before entering into a contract or an existing contract. Other business inquiries are handled under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and the legitimate interest in responding to them. Your name, email address and message are needed to handle the inquiry; providing an organization is optional.
To prevent misuse, the form creates separate shortened verification values from the IP address and email address. Cloudflare uses them for rate limits with a 60-second window. The form code does not store the unmodified IP address.
Form submissions are sent through Cloudflare's email service to a mailbox provided by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. They are not copied into a CRM. Correspondence is deleted once the inquiry has been completed, unless statutory retention duties or legitimate documentation requirements apply.
Cookies and browser storage
The website does not use cookies. Temporary technical settings for the menu and language switch are held in the browser's session storage. They contain no contact details and are deleted when the browser session ends.
The website does not use analytics, advertising or profiling services, externally hosted fonts, social media plugins or embedded third-party content. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you may request access to or correction or deletion of your data, restrict its processing, receive data you have provided in a portable format, or object to processing. Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. To exercise these rights, email the address above.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. PANIC Intelligence is supervised by the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
